He has a doctorate in Biochemistry from the University of Montpellier and an engineering degree from INSA Lyon. After several stays at Biomérieux, he worked at Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur in 1998. He joined Bio-Rad in 1999 where he was Site Director and co-Director of the SysDiag Joint Research Unit between CNRS and Bio-Rad until 2014. He is currently President and Scientific Director of the company KYomed Innov. He is also a member of the Strategic Project Committee of the Eurobiomed Competitiveness Cluster (after having been president) and participated in the CR2i shared innovation platform project as part of the Future Investments Program. This project at the convergence of Digital and Health was selected in 2013 by the French government and led to the creation of Kyomed Innov which provides services in the field of digital health innovations at the national and international level. He has participated in or supervised several European (EIT Health, FEDER) and national (PIA 1-2-3, FUI) projects.
