NEURON EXPERTS

Neuron Experts is a private CRO, created in 2008, specializing in neuron cultures mimicking neurodegenerative diseases. This company has developed its own tests based on human and rat in vitro models reproducing neurodegenerative diseases such as AD, PD, HD, ALS, MS. These models make it possible to test the effectiveness of compounds from the pharmaceutical industry and start-ups as well as to understand their mode of action in these pathologies. Neuron Experts created a new neuro-dermatology department in 2014 to study the relationships between sensory neurons and the skin. She has developed a unique skin model of reconstructed epidermis innervated by human sensory neurons making it possible to measure the impact of products, applied topically, on the activity of sensory neurons.
