TAMBA Labs is an innovative startup that develops red biotechnologies (intended for health) isolated by bio-guided fractionation from plant biomass transformed into green chemistry. The innovative active ingredients developed mainly from African medicinal plants are intended for the pharmaceutical industry, functional nutrition and dermocosmetics.
Research within TAMBA Labs has notably enabled the discovery and formulation of a Biomimetic Extracellular Matrix, a patented pluripotent active ingredient, whose applications will affect several medical fields (cellular therapy, healing, oxidative stress, etc.). R&D activity has also made it possible to discover a new active ingredient in vector control which has demonstrated its effectiveness as a natural mosquito repellent, superior to existing ones.
In the field of functional nutrition, TAMBA Labs develops active ingredients for homeostasis in general.
